Many years support of Georgia from the US Government and American people through NGO ACTS International and its affiliate in the country ACTS Georgia continues. The first relief in the new political situation was received by ACTS Georgia on November 25, 2003 the shipment of urgently needed medications of $3 million USD sent to Georgia by a Call To Serve International ,with Missouri Chapter based in Columbia, was distributed to the medical facilities of the targeted high mountain regions of Georgia All the medicines and supplies of the shipment have been donated by Project Hope, Heart to Heart, Missory University Medical Schools (Columbia and Kansas City).


On January 15, 2004 followed the second shipment of urgently needed medications, this time ACTS Georgia received donation from TULIPE Emergency Pharmaceutical Industry Transfers, France, amounting to $215 449 78 USD.The transportation of the airlift was carried out by US Department. Press- conference was arranged by ACTS Georgia in regard of the above shipments with the participation of US embassy in Georgia and French embassy in Georgia.
Dr. Patricia J.Blair, President of ACTS Inernational,the Honorable Ambassador Richard Miles and the Honorable Ambassador Salome Zurabishvili headed the conference.

In November 2003 Georgian LIONS club was established under the initative of Dr.Trish Blair. More than twenty charity actions have been carried out by LIONS Club with the partnership of ACTS Georgia.
